The 2026 AVC Women’s Champions League, featuring eight of Asia’s top women’s club teams, is about to serve off on Sunday, April 26. After four competition days of exciting knockout matches, this year’s Asian continental champion will emerge on Thursday, April 30. The top two teams in the final standings of the tournament in Bangkok will also qualify for the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship. All the action in the Thai capital will be streamed live on VBTV.

After e recent decision to change the venue of the prestigious annual competition, the matches will now take place at The Mall Bangkapi Convention Hall in Bangkok. A total of eight club teams will take part in a thrilling direct elimination format – quarterfinals, semifinals and medal matches.

The first two semifinals will be played on Sunday. China’s Beijing Arctic Ocean, with Croatian star Samanta Fabris on the squad, will take on defending champions Zhetysu Taldyqorgan of Kazakhstan in a mouth-watering tournament opener, starting at 15:00 local time (08:00 UTC). Four hours later, at 19:00 (12:00), Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima 3M Films, with stellar presence from Sasipaporn Janthawisut, will face Mehregan Noor of Iran.

The other two quarterfinals will be played at the same starting times on Monday. 2024 and 2016 Asian champions NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki of Japan, with the likes of outside hitter Yoshino Sato and Italian opposite Sylvia Nwakalor shining on the roster, will meet Thailand’s Harudot Chonburi RMUTT in the third quarterfinal. The last semifinalist will emerge from a clash between another host country team – 2017 and 2018 continental champions Supreme TIP Chonburi - E.Tech with Thai internationals Pleumjit Thinkaow and Piyanut Pannoy on the squad – and Indonesia’s Bandung BJB Tandamata.

After a day off for the competition on Tuesday, the two semifinals will be played on Wednesday. The bronze and gold medal matches on Thursday will wrap up the 2026 AVC Women’s Champions League.
