WWCH Announcement 16x9

The journey to the 2027 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Cup reaches its next big milestone on Monday, 26 October 2026, when the Draw takes place live on Volleyball World’s YouTube channel.

For the 32 qualified teams, the Draw marks the moment the tournament becomes real. They’ll find out their pool opponents, and fans everywhere will start mapping out their team’s route to the final in Anaheim.

The Draw: Key information

  • Date: Monday, 26 October 2026
  • Time: 8 AM PT | 11 AM ET | 4 PM CET

What’s at stake

The Draw will place the 32 teams into eight pools of four. The top two teams from each pool advance to the knockout stage, which runs through the Round of 16, quarterfinals and semifinals. It ends with the bronze medal match and the final, where one team will be crowned world champion.

The 2027 edition carries extra weight because it is one of the last qualification pathways for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The three best-ranked teams that have not already qualified will book their places at LA28. The finals will also give teams a first look at the Olympic stage: the Honda Center in Anaheim, which will host the volleyball competition at LA28.
