The next few days could very well be when we’ll know the teams that will lift the national trophies in Italy, with both the Lega Pallavolo Serie A1 Femminile and the SuperLega Credem Banca featuring critical matches this week.

The Italian Women’s League Finals will have matches on Tuesday and Thursday and if defending champions Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano beat Vero Volley Milano on both occasions, they’ll take the title. With the SuperLega, Itas Trentino are the ones in control as they enter match four, on Friday, holding a 2-1 lead over Cucine Lube Civitanova.

The week will also feature a lot of competition at the regional level, with South American women and Asian men battling for the gold medals in their Continental Championships. Asia will also stage national team competition with eight women’s teams playing in the 32nd edition of the Southeast Asian Games.

It’s going to be a busy week in beach volleyball too, with a Beach Pro Tour Futures event in Madrid, the start of the CEV Nations Cup in Switzerland and a NORCECA Continental Tour tournament going on in Cuba.

Here’s all the info you need to get ready for the next few days of action around the world:
