Volleyball World is pleased to announce the extension of its media rights agreement with United Media, ensuring extensive coverage of premier volleyball and beach volleyball events across Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia from 2025 to 2032.

Volleyball World was advised by SN1 in securing this significant agreement, which includes the broadcasting rights for the FIVB World Championships, Volleyball Nations League, Club World Championships, Beach Volleyball World Championships, and the Beach Pro Tour. The coverage will be co-exclusive with Volleyball TV (VBTV), providing fans with unparalleled access to top-tier volleyball events.

The extended partnership highlights the region's growing success in volleyball. The Serbia women's national team recently earned a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics, a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and won the FIVB World Championship back-to-back in both 2018 and 2022. Meanwhile, the Slovenian men's national team has reached the final of the European Championship three times between 2015 and 2021, finishing as runners-up each time. Currently, Slovenia is ranked 5th in the FIVB World Rankings.

This extension is part of Volleyball World's broader strategy to enhance global access to volleyball. Recent long-term extensions have also been secured with Polsat in Poland, and Globo in Brazil. These agreements further demonstrate Volleyball World's commitment to expanding its reach and delivering top-quality volleyball content to fans worldwide.

Felix von Knorring, Head of Media at Volleyball World, commented: "We are delighted to continue our partnership with United Media. Their commitment to delivering high-quality sports content aligns perfectly with our goal to elevate volleyball's profile globally. This extended agreement ensures that fans in the region will have unrivalled access to some of the best volleyball action in the world."

Nemanja Simeunović, CEO of Sport Klub, added: "We are honoured to continue our partnership with Volleyball World and bring premier volleyball and beach volleyball events to our viewers in the region. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing top-notch sports content and supporting the growth of volleyball in our countries. The extended media rights agreement ensures that fans will have access to the best volleyball competitions, fostering a deeper connection to the sport. Sport Klub remains dedicated to delivering exceptional sports coverage, and this partnership further solidifies our position as the leading sports broadcaster in the region."
