Volleyball World, the commercial arm of the FIVB responsible for driving the sport’s global growth and fan experience today announces a landmark multi-year strategic partnership with Jas as exclusive rights holder and Mono as the exclusive broadcaster for world-class international volleyball across Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
Through this partnership, fans will enjoy comprehensive coverage of the sport’s leading international competitions, including the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), the FIVB World Cup, and the AVC Continental Championships. For the first time, beach volleyball events will also be broadcast on a Thai platform, marking a significant milestone in expanding the discipline’s visibility in the region.
Mono, one of Thailand’s leading media groups, will leverage its nationwide reach and digital ecosystem to deepen fan engagement and support the long-term development of volleyball. The partnership will establish an integrated, multi-platform distribution model designed to maximize audience reach. In Thailand, fans will benefit from extensive free-to-air coverage on Mono29, complemented by OTT streaming on MONOMAX, alongside digital-first storytelling and highlights. This agreement further strengthens Jas’ premier sports portfolio, which includes world-leading sport content rights, positioning the platform as the hub of the sport’s growth in the region.
A primary focus of the collaboration will be ensuring high visibility for Thailand’s national team matches, especially during domestic events. By amplifying these competitions, Volleyball World, along with Jas and Mono, aim to unlock new commercial opportunities and deliver an enhanced, world-class experience for volleyball fans throughout Southeast Asia.
The partnership forms part of Volleyball World’s wider strategy to strengthen its presence in high-growth markets and bring the sport closer to its global fanbase of more than 800 million fans worldwide.
