The 2025 Pro Volleyball Federation enters the final week of the regular season in the next days, with one match on Wednesday, two on Thursday, two on Friday, one on Saturday and two on Sunday, and some of these encounters will determine the matchups of the Finals, which are scheduled for May 9-11.

The four teams that will compete in the Finals were confirmed last week, when the Indy Ignite qualified and joined the Omaha Supernovas, the Atlanta Vibe and the Orlando Valkyries, but the semifinal duels that are going to take place in Las Vegas are yet to be determined.

From the four qualified teams, only the Ignite, who have 13 wins and 13 losses, know they will be entering the playoffs in fourth place. The Supernovas (19-7) and the Vibe (18-8) fight for first place, while the Valkyries (16-10) can still move up from third to second.

The race to the top of the standings could end as soon as Friday, when the Supernovas face the Grand Rapids Rise on the road, at 19:00 local time (23:00 GMT). Because they have 55 points to the Vibe’s 50, the team from Nebraska will secure first place if they triumph against the Rise.

"We need to compete consistently, like we know how, with the chemistry that we have, and stay in attack mode," said head coach Laura Kuhn.

For the Atlanta side, the path to the top depends on the Supernovas falling to the Rise on Friday. If that happens and the Vibe manage to beat the Ignite on the road on Thursday, at 19:00 local time (23:00 GMT), the teams will have the same campaigns, with 19 wins and eight losses, and will decide who enters the Finals as the highest-ranked side of the regular season in a head-to-head duel, scheduled for Sunday, at 18:00 local time (22:00 GMT), in Atlanta.

Currently in third place, the Valkyries can still catch the Vibe at second. For that to happen, the Atlanta team would need to lose both its matches and the Orlando side would need to get a pair of road wins against the Rise, on Wednesday, at 19:00 local time (23:00 GMT), and the Vegas Thrill, on Friday, at 19:00 local time (02:00 GMT, Saturday).

The final week of the regular season will also have the San Diego Mojo hosting the Columbus Fury on Thursday, at 19:00 local time (02:00 GMT, Friday), and the Ignite on Saturday, at 18:00 local time (01:00 GMT, Sunday), and the Thrill facing the Fury on Sunday, at 18:00 local time (01:00 GMT, Monday).
