But the Poland star, who won a Best Outside Hitter award at the FIVB Volleyball Nations League earlier this year, will be part of his country's team at the CEV Men's EuroVolley 2021 from September 1 to 19. In reporting by Polish media outlet Onet, Kubiak also said that - health allowing - he hoped to play for a medal at the Games in Paris in 2024.
Despite losing to France in the quarterfinals of the Tokyo 2020 volleyball tournament, the reigning back-to-back world champions will be among the favourites when the European Championship begins. Poland are in EuroVolley Pool A alongside Belgium, Greece, Portugal, reigning European champions Serbia, and Ukraine, and will have a strong lineup going into the tournament.
