Eight Clubs Confirmed for 2026 FIVB Men's Volleyball Club World Championship

Following the announcement that Poland will host the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship in 2026 and 2027, Volleyball World is pleased to confirm the eight clubs set to compete in this year’s competition. Bringing together leading teams from four continents, the tournament will see some of the world’s top volleyball talent descend on Poland as the global club game takes centre stage.

Leading the home challenge will be Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, who return to the Club World Championship as host club and reigning Polish champions. With home support behind them, the Polish side will look to build on their previous campaign on the world stage. Zawiercie’s place as host club is particularly significant given that they also finished as runners-up in the 2025–26 CEV Champions League, opening the door for third-placed Ziraat Bankkart to qualify as the next eligible European team through the Continental Club Championship qualification pathway in accordance with the FIVB Event Regulations.

Ziraat will therefore make their Club World Championship debut in Poland, joining fellow European powerhouse Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, who arrive as reigning 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship winners and 2025–26 CEV Champions League champions. The Italian side are chasing a fourth Club World Championship title and boast a squad packed with international stars, including Oleh Plotnytskyi and Simone Giannelli.

South America will also bring two formidable contenders to Poland, with Vôlei Renata qualifying as winners of the 2025–26 CSV Club Championship and five-time Club World Champions Sada Cruzeiro earning their place as runners-up. The Brazilian powerhouse will be looking to add another global title to their illustrious history after their 2025 campaign ended against eventual champions Perugia.

Asia will be represented by two sides who faced each other in the 2026 AVC Men’s Champions League final, with Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi claiming the continental crown and Foolad Sirjan Iranian securing the runners-up spot. Jakarta will make their Club World Championship debut after making history as the first Indonesian men’s club to win the Asian continental title, completing the competition undefeated before overcoming their Iranian opponents in the final, while Foolad will arrive in Poland looking to build on their strong continental campaign and make their mark on the global stage.

Completing the field are Al Ahly SC, who qualified as winners of the 2025–26 CAVB Club Championship. Representing Africa, the Egyptian side will bring further continental pedigree to a line-up that spans four continents and combines reigning champions with some of the most successful and ambitious clubs in the world game.

• Al Ahly SC (EGY) – 2025-26 CAVB Club Championship winners

• Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie (POL) – Host Club

From defending champions and historic Club World Championship winners to continental title holders and newcomers preparing for their first appearance on the global stage, the 2026 field promises a compelling battle for world honours as the tournament arrives in Poland.
