Set to take place from July 24 to August 7, the Beach Volleyball tournament at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be held at Shiokaze Park and feature a total of 24 teams per gender.

A drawing of lots ceremony will be held at 16:00 MSK (15:00 CET) on Monday July 5 at Radisson Collection Hotel in Moscow, Russia to determine the composition of the pools for the Olympic competition. The draw will be streamed live across the Volleyball World channels.

The qualification process for the Tokyo Olympics will be completed next week when Continental Cup Finals take place around the world from June 21 to 27 and five countries per gender, one from each continent, earn a place at the Olympics.
