The Italian women's league is already loaded with Olympic and World Championship medallists and that list continues to grow with Ana Bjelica officially joining Megabox Ondulati Del Savio Vallefoglia.

Bjelica set to play for Vallefoglia in Italy

“I am overjoyed to finally be able to play in the Italian league, and at the same time in a team that I like very much,” she said. "I hope to be able to help the club achieve the best possible result and I can't wait to get started!"
With the national team of Serbia, Bjelica won gold at the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship and at the 2017 and 2019 European Championships. She also helped her country to bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Bjelica joins other international players at the club, including Russian Tatyana Kosheleva and Sinead Jack of Trinidad and Tobago.
