The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is pleased to announce the expansion of its partnership with Volleyball World. The agreement includes significant new benefits for the AVCA’s nearly 9,000 members, ranging from exclusive access to Volleyball TV (VBTV)’s on-demand content and live coverage of this week’s AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach National Championships to ticket discounts for international competitions held in the United States.

“We are incredibly excited to expand our working partnership with Volleyball World, VBTV, and the FIVB.” says Jaime Gordon, AVCA CEO. “We have a tremendous tradition of elite volleyball here in the U.S. and it is important for our continued growth to build wider bridges with the international community.  While I am thrilled about our partnership today, I am even more inspired by the collaborations we will be able to build in the future.”

VBTV, which is Volleyball World’s flagship product, is the largest broadcaster of indoor and beach volleyball. AVCA members will gain a year of exclusive access to the network’s on-demand content, as well as discounted pricing on other subscription plans. VBTV's inventory features renowned competitions such as the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Beach Pro Tour (BPT), World Championships, men's and women's Italian leagues, The Big Ten Conference, and Prime Volleyball League of India, while consistently exploring new partnerships with prestigious leagues worldwide.

Association members will also have exclusive access to watch all the marquee matches from this weekend’s 2023 AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach National Championships in Huntsville, Alabama. On Saturday and Sunday, VBTV will broadcast center-court matches from the event, which includes a women’s pairs championship and a men’s team championship.

Volleyball World CEO Finn Taylor commented: "The expansion of our collaboration with the AVCA is a testament to our commitment to work with all of volleyball's stakeholders to further the sport's global growth. The AVCA brings together thousands of coaches in the U.S., who are a cornerstone of every successful volleyball team, and we take pride in acknowledging the significant contributions they make to the sport. We are excited to explore the opportunities that this partnership will unlock in the future, particularly in regard to the top-tier coaching education that the AVCA can bring to our events and VBTV."

AVCA members will also enjoy the advantage of securing group discounted tickets for VNL and BPT events hosted in the United States. After experiencing great success in hosting the 2023 women’s VNL Finals in Arlington, Texas, and a week of pool play competition for this year’s men’s VNL, Volleyball World is planning to return to the U.S. in 2024.

Additional components from the agreement that are in the works include the AVCA coordinating coaching clinics at VNL events and providing educational programming to be added to VBTV’s extensive content library.
