Twenty teams will gather in Egypt for FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U18 World Championship from September 5-14, 2019.
The FIVB Age Group World Championships are biennial events, with a total of four age group championships set to be held in 2019.
The youngest of those tournaments is the Girls’ U18 World Championship. First introduced in 1989 the 15th edition of the competition will be held in Argentina from September 5 to 14 , with the 20 teams fighting for a medal.
Italy won their second consecutive gold medal in Argentina two years ago at the 2017 edition. Dominican Republic won silver, while Russia ended up winning the Bronze after beating Turkey.
