#16 – TANDARA ALVES CAIXETA

In 2011 Tandara made her debut in the main national team. She won
the silver medal in FIVB World Grand Prix and was part of the team that won the
South American Championship, in Lima, Peru. In 2012 Tandara had an amazing
year. She won the gold medal at the London Olympic Games and helped Brazil to
achieve the silver medal at the FIVB World Grand Prix. In 2013, Tandara
recovered from an injury in her shoulder and helped Brazil to win the World
Grand Champions Cup in Japan. In 2014, Tandara was part of the team that won the
gold medal in the World Grand Prix and the third place in the FIVB World
Championship in Italy. In 2015, Tandara took a year off from the national team
and gave birth to her first child Maria Clara. Tandara got back to the team in
2016 and helped Brazil to win the 11th
title of the FIVB World Grand Prix. In 2017, Tandara had an
incredible year with the national team. She helped Brazil to win the gold medal
in the FIVB Grand Prix, Montreux Volley Masters and South American Games where
she was elected the MVP. She also shined in the Grand Champions Cup where
Brazil achieved the silver medal.
