Bruno Cunha was born in 1997 in Viana do Castelo. In 2006 he started to play in the local club VC Viana where he played, until he transferred to Vitoria SC in 2015. He returned this season to VC Viana. He was called in 2015 for the first time to the national team, junior and senior. In 2017 he also participated in the 2017 FIVB U21 Men Volleyball World Championship - European Qualification and has been in the camp training with the Men’s Senior Team. He played in the University Team in the Taipé Summer Universiades 2017 and in the Mediterranean Games 2018. A young player with physical potential and that is capable of a great evolution in terms of technique and tactics. The 193-cm opposite has improved his technical control and tactic capacity as a spiker. He has a good jump serve, with consistence and now with some experience and power. In 2018 he has been in the training camp with the National Team and he was called to the team in the last phase of the qualification to the 2019 European Championship.
