Tickets sales in full swing as Volleyball Nations League debut approaches

 

Lausanne, Switzerland, April 23, 2018 - Excitement is building for the start of the Volleyball Nations League next month, with ticket sales for the FIVB’s brand new event in full swing.

From May 15 to July 8, the Volleyball Nations League will showcase the 16 best national teams for each gender as each nation battles it out to become the first-ever Volleyball Nations League champion.

Qualifying matches will take place in countries all over the world, including Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, Poland, Russia, Thailand, the Netherlands, and the USA. Each core team will host at least one set of matches, bringing the action closer to fans all over the world.

Once the Preliminary Round is complete, the top five teams will join the hosts for the Finals. The women’s Finals will take place in Nanjing, China, whilst the men’s competition will be held in Lille, France.

Considered to be the most revolutionary concept in the sport in the last decade, the Volleyball Nations League is set to change the future of volleyball.
