He’s from Santa Fe and is fully dedicated to volleyball
since he was 14. He called the attention of the national coaches since he was
very young due to his talent, not only in volleyball, but also in basketball. His
debut at the Senior Men Team was with Jon Uriarte when he was only 18 years
old. In 2006 he was part of the team when Argentina reached its best campaign
at the FIVB World League with 7 victories. A few months later he participated
as starting player at the World Championship in Japan and was awarded as the
best setter in several international competitions, including the FIVB World
League 2011, when the Argentine team finished 4th, its best place ever. In
2013 he was the captain of the Argentine National Team, same role he has
nowadays. He has been wearing the Argentine jersey without stop since 2006
being coached by Uriarte, Weber and Velasco. On his carreer in Italy he played at
Copra Elior Piacenza before becoming setter and captain of Sir Safety Perugia,
champion of the Italian Supercup 2017 and the Italian Cup 2018, as well as
reaching the final of the Superlega and the Final Four of the Champions League.
He played two Olympic Games and several competitions with Argentina making him
one of the references of the team.
