The Swedish opposite emerged as the team’s top scorer this season, tallying 467 attacks, 46 aces and 41 blocks. She was also a consistent double-digit scorer in the playoffs and the finals.

Prior to a third match on Friday, VakifBank had recorded two victories over Fenerbahce Opet in the finals series. The first encounter was a 3-2 (25-16, 22-25, 18-25, 25-18, 15-10) victory on Fenerbahce turf, then the second victory was a 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-21) home win.
