News 01/11/2018 FIVB World Tour returns to Canada Edmonton, Canada, November 1, 2019 - For the first-time in three seasons, the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour will return to Canada as Edmonton hosts the planet's elite beach volleyball from July 17-21 in the capital city of the Canadian province of Alberta.Situated on the North Saskatchewan River in the western part of the North American country, Edmonton is the fourth Canadian city to host an FIVB World Tour event along with Montreal (2002, 2005-2007), Quebec (2011) and Toronto (1998-2000, 2016).Teams from beach volleyball power Brazil have captured 12 gold medals, including seven men and five women titles.
