The beach volleyball party roared into action today with the thrilling knockout stages, delivering intense highs and crushing lows for athletes chasing their Olympic dreams.

American football’s Greatest of All Time (GOAT) Tom Brady and his daughter Vivian joined the beach volleyball party this evening. They received a warm welcome from two-time Olympian, FIVB Athlete Ambassador and Athletes’ Commission Chair Madelein Meppelink.

In an unforgettable highlight, Madelein and Vivian played volleyball atop the Eiffel Tower Stadium terrace, a special moment broadcasted by the Olympic Broadcasting Services feed and shared with the world.

Adding to the star-studded affair, NBA's Boston Celtics standout Derrick White made an appearance to cheer on his fellow Team USA stars, Sara Hughes and Kelly Cheng. The duo battled through a nail-biting three-set match to keep their Olympic hopes alive. Derrick was greeted at the Eiffel Tower Stadium by FIVB Athlete Ambassador and two-time Olympian, Louise Bawden.

Meanwhile, Dominique Faure, France’s Minister Delegate in charge of Territorial collectivities and Rural affairs, also visited the stadium in the afternoon to enjoy electrifying beach volleyball action in the sunshine.
