Beach volleyball serves up another magical day at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 for tens of thousands of fans and millions more watching around the world, with the action hotting up as the first pools conclude.

The tennis GOAT captures the most Instagrammable venue

American tennis GOAT Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, is the latest legend to visit the most iconic venue of the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Williams added star support yet again for Sara Hughes & Kelly Cheng, who have topped their pool to qualify for the Round of 16. The American tennis ace was welcomed to the venue by FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F°.

France President Emmanuel Macron was also in town, this time witnessing the venue with competition in full swing after his pre-Games visit.

After catching Youssef Krou & Arnaud Gauthier-Rat’s last match of Paris 2024, Macron and Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra took the time to congratulate them on their fantastic efforts.

Chile’s Minister of Sports, Jaime Pizarro, a former national football team captain with 53 caps to his name, also visited a sun-filled Eiffel Tower Stadium. He was greeted by South American Volleyball Confederation President Marco Tullio Teixeira, and cheered Marco Grimalt and Esteban Grimalt on to their first win of the competition against Italy’s Alex Ranghieri and Adrian Carambula.
