Beach volleyball continued to keep the summer festivities going in Paris today, as guests from Jordanian royalty, NBA legend and the Paris 2024 Organising Committee to government officials, sports leaders and legendary commentators stopped by to witness a packed stadium.

IOC Executive Board Member and Jordan Olympic Committee President HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, Jordan Volleyball Federation President and Volleyball Foundation member HRH Princess Ayah Al Feisal, HRH Princess Sara Bint Faisal and HRH Princess Aisha bint Faisal today visited the beach volleyball arena to enjoy the action under the night sky. The honoured guests were welcomed by FIVB General Director Fabio Azevedo, alongside Volleyball Foundation Executive Director and Athlete Ambassador Elizaveta Bracht, a two-time Olympic silver medallist.

Former professional basketball player and NBA superstar Pau Gasol enjoyed the evening session with his family.

Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Sport, His Excellency Bader Alkadi, also visited the most iconic venue of the Games today where he met with FIVB General Director Azevedo, and even enjoyed a spot of beach volleyball at the Volleyball Experience courts.

Franck Riester, the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness of France, also visited the beach volleyball venue today. Riester also took the opportunity to chat with two-time Olympian, FIVB Athlete Ambassador and Athletes’ Commission President Madelein Meppelink.

Galvão Bueno, widely considered the most popular Brazilian sports commentator, was also spotted soaking up the sun at the Eiffel Tower Stadium.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medallist Carol Gattaz with the Brazil women’s national team, came along to catch some beach volleyball and the perfect Instagram shot in the most Instagrammable venue of the Games.

Rewinding a few days, American actors Elizabeth Banks and Leslie Mann, alongside renowned American director and film producer Judd Apatow were in town to cheer on Team USA’s Sara Hughes & Kelly Cheng during their Sunday night win over Czechia’s Barbora Hermannova & Marie-Sara Stochlova.
