This year, the Beach Pro Tour season will start much earlier than in the previous two years. It will serve off in under two weeks, on February 5, with a tournament in Mount Maunganui, the first of 29 Futures events announced with the first release of the 2026 Beach Pro Tour calendar, promising another exciting season ahead for the striving beach volleyball athletes across the world.

After this Pacific beach in New Zealand welcomes the Tour for the fourth straight year, action will continue with an extensive calendar in March and early April, featuring another five Futures events on Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) territory – in Sanya, China, in Coolangatta, Australia, in Haikou, China, in Rarotonga, Cook Islands, and in Tahiti, French Polynesia.

Asia will host another two Futures stops during the second half of May – in Songkhla, Thailand and in Wuhan, China.

The Spanish capital Madrid will welcome the year’s first European Futures tournaments – a men’s competition starting on May 7, followed by a women’s event a week later. Cervia, Italy will then host an event at the end of May.

The month of June will be very busy on the Beach Pro Tour. The first week of the month will offer Futures events in Sveti Vlas, Bulgaria and in Krakow, Poland. The second week of June will also feature two concurrent stops – in Jurmala, Latvia and in Spiez, Switzerland. Ios, Greece and Karpacz, Poland will host events during the third week of June, while the Swiss city of Geneva welcomes the first of two single-gender tournaments. The dates of the second one coincide with those of a Futures stop in Balikesir, Turkiye and another one in Bridlington, England during the fourth week of June. Hangzhou in China will also welcome a Futures event during that very intensive Beach Pro Tour week.

At this point, seven Futures events have been registered for the second half of the year. The first week of July will offer stops in Rzeszow, Poland and in Messina, Italy. Africa will welcome the Beach Pro Tour with Futures tournaments in Laginha Beach, Cape Verde in the second half of July and in Bujumbura, Burundi in the second half of August. In between, another three events in Asia have been added to the calendar – with China hosting the Tour again in Pingtan and Qidong, and Korea welcoming a women’s tournament in Busan.

As always, the Futures schedule is very extensive and dynamic, so many more events of this category are expected to be added to the calendar later on.
