The Nayarit Challenge on the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour got underway in Mexico on Wednesday with the men’s qualification matches. Five do-or-die games were played with two pairs from Brazil and one each from Canada, France and USA earning the main draw spots. Another three duos – from Brazil, Latvia and Slovakia – also advanced to the last 32 of the tournament, but without play, receiving byes, based on their seeding in the qualification bracket, while another American team moved on as lucky losers.
