Top-seeded Enrico Rosi & Marco Viscovich cruised through the tournament undefeated in five matches played and collected their first Beach Pro Tour medal as a pair. In the semifinals, they suffered one of their two set losses in the competition, but managed to come back and claim a 2-1 (17-21, 21-13, 15-8) victory over sixth-seeded Austrians Alexander Huber & Robin Seidl. Against their second-seeded compatriots Alex Ranghieri & Manuel Alfieri in the gold medal showdown, Rosi & Viscovich mastered an emphatic 2-0 (21-14, 21-16) sweep.

Two-time Olympian Ranghieri and his partner Alfieri also picked up their first Beach Pro Tour medal as a duo. To reach the final, they won four games in a row. In the semifinals, Ranghieri & Alfieri managed a 2-0 (21-18, 21-19) win over another Italian team, third-seeded Tiziano Andreatta & Davide Benzi.

Huber & Seidl stood on the way to a full Italian sweep of the podium spots and snatched the bronze after a hard-fought 2-1 (21-19, 19-21, 17-15) victory over Andreatta & Benzi. It was their second Beach Pro Tour medal since they reunited this season, after the silver they earned at their debut at April’s Songkhla Futures.

A pair of 19-year-old Dutch athletes, Trijntje Veerbeek & Floor Hogenhout, made a sensational run from the qualifications all the way to the top of the women’s podium, stringing up an unbeaten streak of six victories. Joining the main draw as the seventh seed, they marched on to the gold medal, crowning their journey with a tight 2-1 (21-13, 18-21, 18-16) semifinal win over third-seeded Anouk Dupin & Marine Kinna of France and a 2-0 (22-20, 21-15) upset of second-seeded Ieva Dumbauskaite & Gerda Grudzinskaite of Lithuania in the final. It was Veerbeek & Hogenhout’s only third appearance on the Beach Pro Tour and, after reaching the quarterfinals in Cervia and Madrid, they celebrated their first podium with gold.

Dumbauskaite & Grudzinskaite had never medaled in their FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour endeavors, and had only collected one Beach Pro Tour bronze during their first period together in 2021 and 2022. Since their reunion this season, they have already made the podiums at both of their appearances on the Tour so far. In the Battipaglia semifinals, the Lithuanians produced a 2-0 (21-17, 21-19) shutout of fourth-seeded Lisa Luini & Desy Poiesz of the Netherlands to secure their third Futures medal, after the bronzes at Ios 2022 and at Nuvali 2025.

In the third-place game, Dupin & Kinna bounced back to beat Luini & Poiesz by 2-0 (21-19, 21-18) and claim bronze. For Dupin, it was the third medal in three Beach Pro Tour appearances in 2025 with three different partners. She also took Valencia Futures gold with Saofe Duval and Madrid Futures silver with Alex Merle. It was the first ever Beach Pro Tour podium for Kinna.
