The world's top athletes will head to Rosarito for the second stop on the inaugural edition of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. One of two events in Mexico in March, this will be your first chance to see the world's premier beach volleyball teams in action at an Elite16 event. Located in the northwest of Mexico, Rosarito will welcome the Beach Pro Tour to the beautiful beaches of the Baja California peninsula.
Elite16 event format:
- Teams per gender: 16
- Qualification Tournament: Up to 16 teams
- First phase: Four pools of four teams each; top two from each pool advance
- Second phase: Eight-team single elimination bracket (quarterfinals, semifinals, bronze medal match, final)
- Duration: 5 days
Prize purse: USD 300,000 (USD 150,000 per gender)
