Radomka Radom and Pałac have the final battle for the Tauron Liga playoffs

With the first seven spots for the 2025-2026 Tauron Liga playoffs already assigned and EcoHarpoon NOWEL LOS Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki's relegation confirmed, all eyes will be on MOYA Radomka Radom and Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz this week, when the regular season comes to an end in the Polish League.

Tied with 25 points, the teams will have the final chapter of their battle for the eighth and last spot in the postseason, ensuring an exciting ending for the league's six-month-long regular season.

Because of their higher set ratio, Radomka Radom enter the week inside the qualification zone, in eighth place. They have, however, a more challenging match in front of them in the 11th and last leg of the second round of the regular season, facing the biggest sensations of the season, third-placed UNI Opole, on the road on Thursday, at 19:30 local time (20:30 UTC).

Coming from a massive win over LOTTO Chemik Police, they need to win 3-0 or 3-1 to leave the court qualified on Thursday. Radomka Radom dropped their first-round match to UNI Opole in four sets and have only three wins in 11 matches against them in the Tauron Liga.

Currently looking from the outside, Pałac, who last weekend lost to UNI Opole and enter the decisive leg coming from back-to-back defeats, have a more favorable matchup, hosting the relegated Nowy Dwór, who lost all but one of their 21 matches this season, on Friday at 20:00 (21:00 UTC).

In order to qualify, Pałac need to earn at least one point more than Radomka Radom this week. This way, if they get all three points against their 12th-placed opponents, like they did in the first round of the regular season, they'd only be out if their rivals did the same against UNI Opole.

Since seventh-placed Chemik Police and sixth-placed ITA TOOLS STAL Mielec already played their 11th-leg match in advance on March 9, only three other duels will be held in Poland between Friday and Saturday.

Tauron Liga - Match Schedule & Results

Friday's only match will have second-placed PGE Budowlani Łódź hosting fourth-placed KS BOSTIK ZGO Bielsko-Biała at 17:30 (18:30 UTC).

The two remaining duels are scheduled for Saturday, when 11th-placed #VolleyWrocław play tenth-placed Sokół & Hagric Mogilno and leaders and defending champions KS DevelopRes Rzeszów face fifth-placed 
ŁKS Commercecon Łódź - both matches are scheduled for 12:30 (13:30 UTC).
