The results of the 21st-leg matches in the women’s Daido Life SV.League in Japan not only did not bring in any new answers, but even heated up the suspense around the remaining two vacancies in the playoffs. Denso Airybees Koriyama, who are still below the playoff zone in the current standings, delivered two sensational away wins over defending champions Osaka Marvelous. The team just above them, Saitama Ageo Medics, also upset their hosts Queenseis Kariya twice, while Gunma Green Wings, spelled out as the next team expected to book a quarterfinal spot, failed to bring home more than a point from their visit to Saga Hisamitsu Springs.
