Nagano Tridents and JTEKT Stings Aichi will meet at the ANC Arena. Saturday’s game starts at 14:05 local time (05:05 UTC), while the match on Sunday will serve off an hour earlier, at 13:05 (04:05). Hosts Nagano occupy sixth place on a 3-5 win-loss ratio and 12 points, while their visitors from Aichi stand fifth on 4-4 and 12.
Table leaders Osaka Bluteon will visit Nippon Steel Sakai Blazers at the Wakayama Big Whale for their encounters set to take place at 15:05 (06:05) on Saturday and at 14:05 (05:05) on Sunday. Osaka top the standings on 7-1 and 20, while Sakai are second from the bottom, in ninth place on 2-6 and 6.
Defending champions Suntory Sunbirds Osaka, also on 7-1 and 20, but running in second place separated from Bluteon on set ratios, will also play on the road this weekend. Their hosts Voreas Hokkaido trail bottom, in 10th place, also on 2-6 and 6, and also separated from Blazers on set ratios. The two teams will open the competition weekend at 13:05 (04:05) on Saturday. Their second match at the Recruit Staffing Rick&Sue Asahikawa Gymnasium on Sunday is set to get underway five minutes later.
Wolfdogs Nagoya will travel to Toray Arrows Shizuoka for a clash between the third from the top and the third from the bottom of the table. Nagoya stand on 5-3 and 15, while eighth-placed Toray Arrows are on 2-6 and 7. The games are scheduled at 14:05 (05:05) on both competition days and will be held at the Kitazato Arena Fuji.
Fourth-placed Hiroshima Thunders will entertain fourth-from-the-bottom Tokyo Great Bears at the IHI Arena Kure at 14:05 (05:05) on Saturday and at 13:05 (04:05) on Sunday. Hiroshima stand on 5-3 and 24, while Tokyo take seventh place on 3-5 and 8.
