Final Superliga regular season matches determine spots in the playoff zone

With eight teams having something to play for, the 2025-2026 Brazilian Men's Superliga comes to an end on Friday, when the tournament's playoff bracket will be set.

All six matches will be held on Friday, at 21:00 local time (00:00 UTC, Saturday), and six clubs will be looking for better positioning ahead of the start of the postseason, while another two will be fighting to continue in the Brazilian first division in 2026-2027.

Set to face off in one of the six matches of the evening, second-placed Vôlei Renata Campinas (48) and league leaders Sada Cruzeiro (54) are among the four teams that have nothing to play for at the conclusion of the regular season, as, regardless of what happens, they will keep their current spots for the playoffs.

Right below them, Praia Clube, which have 41 points and play relegated JF Vôlei on the road, and Itambé Minas, which have 40 and host Saneago Goiás Vôlei, fight neck and neck to end the regular season in third place.

A lot could also change among the other four teams guaranteed in the playoffs. Tied with 32 points, Suzano Vôlei and Azulim Sicoob Aracoop Monte Carmelo will face off in the match that will most likely determine the fifth-placed team ahead of the playoffs.

Ranked seventh with 31, Vôlei Guarulhos Bateubet play Joinville Vôlei on the road and will try to get a win to at least finish ahead of Goiás, which have 30 points, but could move up to sixth.

The match, however, will mean the world to Joinville, which are the first team outside the relegation zone with 21 points and will secure their permanence in the Superliga if they claim all three points.

Trying to pass them and escape relegation are 11th-placed Viapol São José Vôlei, which have 20 points and play ninth-placed SESI Bauru, which are eliminated from playoff contention, on the road.
