PGE GiEK SKRA Belchatow and JSW Jastrzebski Wegiel Jastrzebie-Zdroj will meet at the Energia hall in Belchatow on Tuesday at 17:30 local time (16:30 UTC). SKRA started the season with a loss, but bounced back with a five-match winning streak that propelled the team to fourth place in the current standings on 15 points and a 5-1 win-loss record, with a game in hand. 2024-2025 regular season winners Jastrzebski Wegiel have had a much shakier start to the season and are currently in eighth place on 10 and 4-3. The two clubs met twice last PlusLiga season and traded four-set away victories, bringing their all-time head-to-head record in the PlusLiga to 50-36 SKRA’s way.
The second match on Tuesday, between Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and Barkom Kazhany Lviv, will start at 20:00 (19:00). Preparing for next month’s FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship, hosts Aluron have played more matches than anybody else in the league and top the table on 20 and 7-2. Their Ukrainian opponents are in 10th place on 7 and 2-4.
Wednesday’s first fixture will set PGE Projekt Warsaw against Indykpol AZS Olsztyn. The game at the Torwar is scheduled at 17:30 (16:30). The hosts, last season’s bronze medalists, are now fifth in the table on 14 and 5-2. Their visitors from Olsztyn are running second on 19 and 6-2.
