Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi triumphed at the 2026 AVC Men’s Champions League on Sunday and emerged as the first Indonesian team ever to win the Asian continental crown in men’s club volleyball. It was the club’s third medal in the history of the competition, after the 2023 silver and the 2024 bronze. Their Malian opposite Noumory Keita earned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) nomination. Foolad Sirjan Iranian finished runners-up and also collected their third medal in the history of Asia’s most prestigious club competition, after the titles in 2021 and 2024. Both Bhayangkara Presisi and Foolad Sirjan qualified for the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship. The bronze went to Japan’s JTEKT Stings Aichi. It was the club’s first continental podium.

Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi cruised through the competition held at the Terpadu Gymnasium in Pontianak, Indonesia undefeated in three matches played. In the quarterfinals, the home team achieved a 3-1 (25-19, 25-27, 25-19, 25-21) win over Kazakhstan’s Jaiyq Oral, and in Saturday’s semifinals, they shut out Korea’s Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers in three hard-fought sets, 3-0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-23).
Bhayangkara Presisi took four sets to overcome the resistance of Foolad Sirjan Iranian in Sunday’s gold medal showdown in front of an official count of 5,237 fans in the stands. Noumory Keita was on fire and contributed an impressive 38-point match high towards the Indonesian side’s 3-1 (25-20, 24-26, 25-23, 25-23) victory. He excelled from the serving line with six aces. Slovenian outside hitter Rok Mozic added another 16 points, including two aces. His cross-court teammate Farchan Vachrezy Surya Putra put away 11 points, while Cuban middle blocker Robertlandy Simon chipped in with six. On Foolad’s side, middle blocker Amirhossein Toukhteh and outside hitter Poriya Hossein Khanzadeh led the team with 13 points apiece, while Bulgarian outside Aleksandar Nikolov added another 12, including three aces.
Earlier on Sunday, JTEKT Stings Aichi hammered out a 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-21) shutout of Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers with a match-high 24 points from French opposite Stephen Boyer, including three kill blocks. Brazilian outside Ricardo Lucarelli delivered 11 points towards Aichi’s success, while Chinese opposite Jiang Chuan was Skywalkers’ leading scorer with 14 points.
Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi’s 24-year-old striker Noumory Keita was honored as MVP of the tournament. He topped the individual rankings for best scorers (with a total of 90 points) and for best attackers. The Malian opposite was also named on the competition’s Dream Team along with setter Ali Ramezani (Foolad Sirjan Iranian), outside hitters Aleksandar Nikolov (Foolad Sirjan Iranian) and Poriya Hossein Khanzadeh (Foolad Sirjan Iranian), middle blockers Robertlandy Simon (Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi) and Ahmad Gumilar (Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi), and libero Kazuyuki Takahashi (JTEKT Stings Aichi).
