The hottest team in the 2025 Pro Volleyball Federation season right now, the Atlanta Vibe are in a strong position to continue winning this weekend, during the 12th week of the regular season, and seriously getting into the fight for the top spot in the standings.

The team from Georgia will be at home in both of their encounters this weekend and will face lower-ranked opponents in seventh-placed San Diego Mojo and eighth-placed Columbus Fury at the Georgia State Convocation Center.

Undefeated in their last six matches, the Vibe are currently in third place in the standings with 12 wins and eight losses, but have the same number of victories as the teams ranked above them, league leaders Omaha Supernovas (12-5) and second-placed Orlando Valkyries (12-7).

The first match of the weekend will be against the Mojo, who rank seventh with six wins and 12 losses, on Friday, at 19:00 local time (23:00 GMT). The teams have already met twice this season and the Vibe won on both occasions, triumphing 3-1 in January and 3-2 two weeks ago.

On Sunday, they will return to the court to face the Fury, who are at the bottom of the standings with five wins and 13 losses. The Vibe won two of the three duels involving the teams in 2025 and triumphed 3-0 when they last met, on Sunday, in Columbus.

Some of the Vibe’s standouts in their strong campaign are outside hitter Leah Edmond, the league’s top scorer with 364 points, who also ranks second in aces with 36 and fourth in digs with 226, libero Morgan Hentz, who leads the league in defensive actions with 361, middle blocker Khori Louis, who’s second in kill percentage with 47.7%, and setter Marlie Monserez, who appears in fifth place in the assists ranking, with 639.

Supernovas play twice

Sitting at the top of the Pro Volleyball Federation standings, the defending champions Supernovas also play twice at home this week and depend only on their own results to continue in first place. They will host the Vegas Thrill on Friday, at 20:00 local time (00:00 GMT, Saturday), and the Grand Rapids Rise on Sunday, at 16:00 local time (20:00 GMT).

The second-placed Valkyries have just one match scheduled for the week, a home encounter against the Indy Ignite on Sunday, at 15:00 local time (19:00 GMT).

Two more matches will be held in the 12th week of the regular season, with the Rise hosting the Fury on Friday, at 19:00 local time (23:00 GMT), and the Thrill playing at home against the Mojo on Sunday, at 19:00 local time (02:00 GMT, Monday).
