The San Diego Mojo took down the last undefeated team in the 2025 Pro Volleyball Federation, prevailing over rookies Indy Ignite in the third week of matches of the American League.

The teams met on Friday, at the Viejas Arena, in California, and the Mojo came back from a first-set loss to prevail 3-1 (18-25, 25-17, 30-28, 25-19) and end the Ignite’s winning streak in the tournament’s second-ever season, which saw they win the first three matches of their campaign.

The only team to have lost just once so far in the season, the Ignite continue at the top of the standings with three wins and one loss. One of three teams with three wins and two losses, the Mojo now appear in fifth place.

Outside hitter Jenaisya Moore was a key player in the Mojo’s comeback, leading the team with 24 points (20 kills, three blocks, one ace), to go with 12 digs. Fellow outside hitter Kendra Dahlke tallied 19 points (all in kills), while Korean setter Da-Yeong Lee delivered 45 assists and 12 digs.

Ignite’s high-scoring outside hitter Leketor Member-Meneh tied Moore’s production with 24 points (22 kills, one block, one ace), while opposite Azhani Tealer dropped 18, with ten kills and eight blocks.

Thrill continue in second place

The Vegas Thrill won the last match of the weekend, topping the Orlando Valkyries 3-1 (15-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-22) on the road on Sunday, and continued in second place, now with four wins and two losses. Earlier in the week, they fell to the Atlanta Vibe 3-1 (23-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-19) in Georgia on Thursday.

The Columbus Fury were the other team to play twice this week, but even with a pair of home matches, they still weren’t able to secure their first victory and continue in eighth place with five losses.

The team from Ohio lost 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-19) to the Omaha Supernovas on Friday and were on the losing end of a five-set battle against the Grand Rapids Rise, who triumphed 3-2 (19-25, 18-25, 25-19, 25-14, 15-12) on Sunday.

After the first three weeks, the Ignite (3-1) are first in the standings, followed by the Thrill (4-2), the Vibe (3-2), the Supernovas (3-2), the Mojo (3-2), the Rise (2-3), the Valkyries (2-3) and the Fury (0-5).

The fourth week of the Pro Volleyball Federation 2025 season will have eight matches played from Thursday to Sunday.
